RETREATS
RETREATS ARE LIKE ADULT SUMMER CAMPS FOR THE SOUL. THEY PROVIDE YOU WITH THE VENUE TO FIND YOURSELF BY HELPING YOU LOSE YOURSELF FIRST.
Shelly’s retreats range from 5-10 days and usually take place in exotic, inspiring or off-the-beaten path locations, helping attendees either unplug from everything that doesn’t serve them, allowing them to plug into a space where they can learn to exhale and let it all go, or helping them connect to a richly historic, meaningful location that helps to create a true shift.
The programs are run informally and are less “retreat” and more “summer camp for the soul.” The itinerary is designed to help you reconnect with yourself by helping you (re)access your inner vitality, enlivening your senses, exercising your imagination and helping you connect with an inspiring and supportive community.
Each day can consist of a blend of activities such as: mindfulness workshops, yoga, teacher-led meditation, sunset gatherings, surfing and Stand-Up-Paddle board lessons, horseback riding, hiking, massages and of course, some much needed time doing NOTHING at all in your hammock. Groups also spend time giving back and volunteering local village schools in the countries we are visiting.
